Laser Acne Treatment
Acne and acne scars are medical conditions influenced by factors such as stress, environmental factors, menstrual cycles, use of oil-based products, and birth control pills. Hormonal imbalances can also play a significant role. For patients dealing with acne and its scars, the desire is not just about achieving beauty, but rather, it’s about attaining a sense of normalcy and acceptance within society’s norms. Unfortunately, individuals with such conditions often face social stigma. Treating these patients aims to alleviate their distress and help them integrate confidently into society as spouses, friends, colleagues, and more. Laser treatment for acne scars involves the use of a specialized wand-like laser to target and remove scars from the skin’s upper layers. This procedure can significantly reduce scarring and enhance skin appearance for those who have previously struggled with acne. In this discussion, we will delve into the specifics of acne laser treatment.

WHAT CAUSES ACNE?
Recent research has shown that increased levels of the male hormone , testosterone (which is present in both males and females), produces growth in the sebaceous (oil) glands of the skin, increasing the production of sebum. In addition, changes in the hair follicles (commonly called pores) lead to a greater number of dead skin cells being shed. Because, these cells tend to cling together and plugging the follicle opening. The combination of oils and cells provide an ideal environment because for the bacterial growth.
ACNE AND ACNE SCARS TREATMENT?
The step of treating acne is to start with medication. This may include topical creams, gels, or oral medications, depending on the severity of the acne and the individual’s skin type. The medications used for acne treatment work by reducing the production of oil, killing bacteria, or reducing inflammation.
If the medication alone does not produce the desired results, laser treatment may be recommended. This can help to reduce the severity of acne and improve the appearance of the skin.
It is important to follow the recommended treatment plan and continue with regular skincare routines to maintain the results. The combination of medication and laser treatment, if required, can effectively manage acne and improve the overall appearance of the skin.
